Many affordable housing developments are overseen and monitored by the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and must be done in accordance with their policies and ethical standards. This training will explain, in depth, the procedures, policy, best practices, compliance & fair housing issues, for both rental and home ownership affordable housing projects. Common pitfalls and costly mistakes in marketing and rent-up, and ways to do comprehensive outreach will be explained.
