Budgeting and Financial Literacy for  Non-Financial Managers: No Math Required!

Friday: September 28th, 2018
9:00 am-1:30 pm

For Front-Line Supervisors and  Program Directors who want to improve their ability to understand and manage the “money” side of providing services.

Have you attended meetings at your Organization where financial matters were being discussed and  you hoped that no one asked for your point of view?
Do you know the difference between a balance sheet and an income statement?
Do you know how to read or create  a budget?
Are you familiar with the 990 Report?

If you answered NO to any of these questions, this workshop  is for you.
This will be a fast-paced, safe space and interactive learning opportunity.

Richard Altman is the former CEO of JCCA. He retired from full time work in 2015 after a 45 year career working in all aspects of family and children’s social services. He currently teaches Organizational Management and Leadership at Hunter College School of Social Work, provides consultation services to Not For Profit Boards and Coaching engagements to Agency Leaders.Mr. Altman is an MSW and holds a Certificate in Not For Profit Management from Columbia University School of Business.
