CNL Advanced Organizing Course
The theory and practice of building neighborhood based grassroots power. The Advanced Course will be a bimonthly class that will combine theory, history and practice that will help you enhance your membership structures, build a strong and sustainable leadership, run strategic campaigns, ensure that contracts and funding support the work, supervise emerging leaders in the field, and build a culture of team work, excellence, creativity and integrity. This requires reading for every class and writing as assigned. The course also includes one on one coaching, once every two months.
How to Apply?
- If you are interested in applying to join the course you must complete the online application here by June 15, 2017. (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/B2K8PYQ) If you think you’ll need more time to apply you must at least express interest by the 15th
- Finalists may be asked to participate in a short interview by phone; the call may take place individually or in a small group.
- Selected participants will be notified by Mid-July 2017
