ReServe is New York City based nonprofit that matches continuing professionals age 55+ (ReServists) with organizations that need their expertise. Nonprofits can tap into a lifetime of experience to fill crucial staffing gaps at affordable rates. ReServists work part-time in exchange for a modest hourly stipend and the knowledge that they are helping to strengthen their communities.

In five years, ReServe has made more than 2,000 placements in 350 local organizations, providing more than 714,000 hours of service. In 2010, 543 ReServists worked at least one month (the average length of service is eight months). Most  ReServists work 10-20 hours a week.
