Summer Internship in Community Organizing

The New York Foundation provides funds for summer internships in community organizing for young people ages 15-23. The purpose of these internships is to increase the number of young people in New York City who see organizing as a career choice.

The New York Foundation has funds to make 15 grants for summer internships. The grants are $6,500 each: $6,000 for salary costs and $500 for Other Than Personnel Services (OTPS) costs.

Only current New York Foundation grantees are eligible to apply for these grants. We will prioritize internship proposals that involve interns directly engaging in organizing efforts, especially in low-income communities and communities of color.

Download application and email it to [email protected].

Application Deadline: Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
